SST

Economy

Economy is simply a large place of interrelated production.

The purpose of economics is to solve the problem of dearth.

It also relates to having good trades and services.

Trade

Trade is the definition of economy, it simply involves buying and

selling, including goods and services.

Globalisation

The differentiation and a short understanding of globalisation is.

the speedup of movements and exchanges.

My understanding of globalisation is, describing the independence of the world’s

economies, cultures, and populations.

  1. Add a report on the NZ Export Product you researched this term

We've been learning about exported products and what countries and places they get exported too. Some get sold in shops and some get sold in stores.

Some get exported in business and some get exported in towns.

Exported products get sold in countries such as India, China, Australia but mostly New Zealand.

It's an interesting thing to be involved in. Overall, exported products are convey in different countries and get sold in different shops and stores. They get exported to different areas in countries or places.

Word Art .

For this one, i choose some keywords from my previous blog post and made a word art. It looks basic but  is something to take a look at. Thank you for your time.

9T English.

This year in English we've been educating different kinds of topics over the terms. Such as our Speeches we did at the start of the year. A little brief about what we had to do to complete this lesson. We had 3 different options to choose from. someone I admire, an issue within our school or wider community And the other one was, determination creates succus. You just have to write about the problems or useful things for which you pick. I choose an issue within our school or wider community.

Term 2. We did this reading response pluse our novel responses, the book is called ''see ya Simon.'' It was about a boy, called Simon. Simon has macular dystrophy, he was a typical boy that was just trying to enjoy life as it is.

In the middle of the year we had to do this little short chronicle  called the Balavalca story. In this event we had to read a few millions of pages ''hehe'', and pick out the right keywords and answers for our next assignment.

Next we did our creative writing. Creative writing isn't just about making illusional paragraph's. It's about you knowing your verbs, adjectives and others. It helps with learning your words, spelling and making a sentence sound proper. We had a quick frase about where we lived, created and posted more details into our creative stories.

I'm going to Add to that. ''We did film study’s ''. Film study's is learning behind the scenes. What angle and what side the camera facese and shoots. I've learnt so much in English. I'm gonna have to say, I learnt more here than in primary school.

Quote: from tik tok :).

I thought last year humbled me, but this year took the cake. I lost so much, I learnt so much and now I know too much. I know 2022 is gonna be good to me because when you know better, you do better.

Sincerely by LeeArn Brown.

jungle scene - creative writing.

One busy Morning on a nice tragic day, when i wanted to run away and be free. I came upon a pleasing jungle with native trees and beautiful stairs along the way. I rusted ford as i could feel my hair swing throw the wind. The stairs felt like a bumpy snake. It had  this green ferns and dangling pieces of vines. It was peaceful and quite, beside the little insects and birds chirping around.

It was a tragic time, that i had to leave in the middle of such a nice moment.

Lockdown blog refection.

In ( My toku Ahurea and identity ). It was just talking about myself, and just giving more detail about my lifestyle. At first I didn't know what kiwi icons were! But then I got to learn more about it. This whole social studies thing is all about history, and what kiwi icons are. Well its a

A flightless bird that lives in our native forest, there called kiwi’s. an icon is like something that’s famous in a country and that will be known to the whole world!

A little activity we did was kiwi meals. We had to choose a favourite food or dessert. I choose

Oreo brownie. Because I love Oreos :) Heritage items: Heritage items for example are full of inherited tradition, different objects, monuments and culture. Online learning is fine!

It doesn’t bother me. In sst i've stayed in front and have finished everyone of our activities Whaea Muritere has prepared for us. i’ve enjoyed my lockdown too, it does get boring now and again. But that's fine.

Migration /09/7/2021 week 10

This term we have been learning about migration within me and my family.

My understanding of migration is when someone moves away. Or migrates to another place.

Somewhere you can go either in a different place or country.

Chang is someone or something that's not gonna be the same.

It's like new, something’s just won't be the same.

Place and change are all you need to complete the process of migration and everything in that area.

I know one of my family members that has migrated. It was my great grand-dad, he migrated from Ireland of Irish ethnic to New Zealand when he was 17 years old.

How do I link this topic to outside factors?

-My family members that have migrated to another place/country.

It made me challenge myself to think about which of my ancestors or my older's migrated around the world.

All of the information I found for migration helped and supported my learning for the topic, and knowing which part of my family migrated.

Balaclava Story 6.7.21

In English we were working on the Balaclava story. The story was about this boy that really wanted to be in the balaclava gang, a balaclava is a ski hat or a hat. Some of the things that was interesting was when he was forcing him self to steal a balaclava, I was shocked. He was so desperate to have one and wanted to be in the gang, and since he wasn't in the gang his friends started ignoring him.

After he stole it and heard that someone's balaclava was missing he started felling guilty. After that his mum bought him his own balaclava, so he felt even more guilty and started regretting what he did.

After that i created a work art and put in some of the key words that i found in the story.

Thursday 1 july term 2 week 9

Kia ora my name is LeeArn Brown and we are learning about push pull factors and intervening obstacles

Describing a story using, push and pull factors and intervening obstacles.

We have learnt that push and pull factors are the same but have different meanings either it's happy, sad or something that prevents things from happening.

I have learnt that doing this exercise is helpful towards our learning and an easier way to explain what the story is about,

It has changed because we always used to do the basics but now using push, pull factors,  it's easy to work with and gives more detail.

What has changed about using this Is that it's not basic but is more explainable to work with.

It helps with the details and has more expressen to it.

CYB week 7 , Scratch

Today we had a tutu on Scratch and changed a bit of coding on the game just to get familiar with it, and maybe next week I'll try and make my own game from the start.

Scratch is a program where you can make your own stuff like games, songs and others. I enjoyed looking at everyone's projects and hard work to give me ideas about what I could make.

CYB 10 June 2021

Kia Ora my name is LeeArn and I'm going to tell you about my Google Draw. It was hard to keep the straight line but after a few tries it worked.

I liked how we could explore and choose what we wanted to draw, I chose plain Nike Air Force shoes. It was difficult at first because the lines just kept going out of line so I changed it up and used this curved line and it was better use and much easier. After a while I started putting colour into it. I red one and on the other shoe i did a red and yellow, which stands out heaps. I have enjoyed my time doing it.

DVC: In this subject we've been learning  different colours and what colour makes what. We have also been colouring in these pictures to try and shade the colours in.

Kia ora my name is LeeArn and i'm working on, Moving to another country

We had to choose a country we wanted to research about do the following activities for it

The country I learnt about was England. It was pretty interesting knowing what stands down there and how many people live over there.

Its helps my history knowing about the world outside of New Zealand

It's about moving to another country. You choose a country to research and learn from it.

Kia ora im leeArn and i'm working on signs of migration within my whanau

It's about which part of your family migrated and how!?

I've learnt more about my family, than I would, if I hadn't asked about their past life.

It helps knowing who my family is, and where they came from. It's really interesting.

The topic is, signs of migration within my whanau and about who my grandparents are and where they originate from.

I wouldn't want to put myself in this situation and, happy i don't have to go through this because this shits is real

The game was about decisions to help his family through these hard times to survive.

Introduce your reflection

Kia ora my name is leeArn, last term we watched 7 episode of what really happened on waitangi day

One positive thing about these 7 episodes was when the british people gave the maori people tobacco and blankets

One thing that i found thoughtful was when the governor said(he iwi tahi tatou)we are one people

It was pretty entertaining, and very interesting to learn about cause if we didn't know about the signing of the treaty then we wouldn't of had known what really happened on that day

I still wasn't sure about  why jack jones sold the maori wahine and  those chief heads.

about me!!!

Kia ora my name is leeArn

I'm a student at bay of island college My culture is Maori, from both sides My mum and dad are Maxine and Jerry, I have 1 older brother and 2 younger siblings i am good at a riding horse and not so bad at riding my dirt bike I enjoy hanging with my friends at school, sleeping eating and, also in the gym playing volley or basketball. I don't have much to say about my challenges, what I've got to say is that, do well in class try everything, and push my self to a higher standard and get good grads.

Some things I'm looking forward this year would be, volleyball with Mrs. Scott and some of the girls, volley takes skills and if you are not up for it you will have a hard time learning, the other thing I'm looking forward to is something that's gonna help me in my grads and help me to achieve my goals I set.
